Who We Are

T-J Roofing began operations in September of 1983, as a sole proprietorship owned by Tom and Sandi Swan. The company was sold to Mark and Diane Johnson on May 1, 2002. The Johnsons owned T-J Roofing for the next 23 years. On March 27, 2025, Mark and Diane Johnson sold the company to their employee, Jay Gilmore, and his wife, Kelly Jo. Jay and Kelly Jo are thrilled to continue the proud tradition of T-J Roofing.


We deliver dependable roofing solutions for both homeowners and businesses, backed by high workmanship standards and strong warranty coverage. Safety guides every step of our process, and we take the time to help you fully understand your roofing choices so you can make confident decisions.

We carry General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Commercial Automobile Insurance with certificates available upon request. We are licensed in the State of Michigan and the City of Toledo, Ohio. We are registered in all other NW Ohio communities where licensing is not required and obtain building permits as required.
